How do I update from Version 21.0?
At the top of the Mozilla Support page, there's a line saying my Firefox is out of date and may contain a security risk. I've followed the advice to go to Help and About Firefox and I'm told I'm uptodate. It also shows me as Version 21.0. My ESET Smart security seems to block regular updates.
Do I have a problem? Am I uptodate? If not, how to I get uptodate?

Download and save the full Firefox installer to the desktop and start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon.

No it isn't. Firefox 27 was released on February 4th.
