I have spent some time digging through your messages about how to fix this issue. I get the general "where to" enable SSL/TLS but no trouble shooting to this specific level.

Spectrum (charter) Internet on May-30-25 a pop up "Add Security Exception" on wife's account (Image #1 below). We have same Internet provider and same server config's (except email name & password or course).

This Security Exception has happened before, as well as on my account in the past.

Although, I never got the Exception this time. We did "Confirm Security Exception" 2x on her account and she is up and running again. No issues.

However, I can't receive e-mails with the Account Settings / Server Settings / Security Settings

"Connection Security" set to SSL/TLS" it must be set to "None" When set to SSL/TLS and I push the "Get Mail" button, the server isn't even banged as there's no msg in lower left frame of TB. I have gmail account and it does bang that one like it should. If set to "None" I get the msg in lower left TB frame showing connection to Charter server and I receive any outstanding e-mails. But I don't want to continue without a password.

Under [Settings/ Privacy & security / Manage Certificates]

hers (Image #2 below) looks different than mine (Image #3 below). She has the 2 confirmed Security Exceptions, but also has a "View" and "Export" button that are bolded when the specific line item is highlighted. I do not have a View or Export button shown. How do I enable the SSL/TLS with password and actually receive emails?

 I am using TB 128.11.0esr (64-bit)

thx in advance Gene

I can't get into my Outlook email any more through firefox! all my medical stuff, and basically my whole online life is inaccessible. I am facing a serious medical crisis, which is negatively affecting my mental health, as well. all my test results are there, just beyond my reach and I truly need the most stress-free online environment and that is Firefox. Can somebody help me get my life back, please? Running windows 11, most current update on a HP pavilion w/ intel core i5. Sadly I can't afford a new (or even a used) computer. I need online connectivity and SAFETY to navigate this nightmare. A million thank yous for any assistance you can provide.

saving passwords

I believe my Settings/Privacy are set to ask me to save passwords, but it does not. I have to manually enter them in Passwords settings to be saved.

Hi, I accidentally allowed syncing from my google chrome onto firefox. I was wondering if there is any way to reverse that. I tried reinstalling firefox and my tabs synced from chrome were still saved. How do I delete all the synced data. I also don't want to sign in to sync because I don't want to sync my data. I'm not signed into Mozella and my data is still synced. How is that possible? Thank you

I am pestered by emails which I don't want, I have tried setting up filters but some do not seem to work as the emails are not deleted before going into my Bulk folder. One of the most persistent ones is cloud@hotmail.com, which is something I do not use. How can I stop all these spam (fraud) emails for once and for all, please put it in simple language as I am not very computer savvy.

For the longest time, I was frustrated that Firefox didn't "remember" saved passwords. I finally figured out that there was this toggle that kept Firefox from saving passwords unless I was logged into Firefox. Since I'd already logged into Firefox three times that day (when my Dell gets bogged down, it developes an odd habit of delaying response to my scrolling, and then taking it as a click on the "close" button), I unchecked the box. Tonight, I was looking for something else in my settings, and noticed the "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" was checked. I unchecked it, went back to looking for why Firefox wanted me to sign in when I was just trying to sing into an unrelated site, came back to "Privacy and Security" and "Require device sign in to fill and manage passwords" was checked again. No matter how many times I uncheck the box, if I click away and come back a few minutes later, it's checked again. Why? I've got to jump through SO many hoops EVERY time I open the browser to use the "save passwords" feature, I may as well not even have the feature and just use my spreadsheet for everything I can't remember.
