
Thunderbird email has stopped downloading emails from my server.
Hi, My Thunderbird email has stopped downloading emails from my server. I click to download emails, get a message saying "downloading 1 of 25" but no progression from here onwards. No messages are downloaded. I have made no changes to the settings and it has been working well for many years. wifi is connected.

Does problem change?
Also, what is your full version number?
Hi, No this has not fixed tjhe problem.
I am usinbg a Mac, I have rebooted the computer, force closed the thunderbird app and reopened. Made sure I have the latest version 228.12Oesr
Tried going into troubleshooting mode, cleared cache.
Continues to give message "downloading 1 of 33 messages" but no progress from there.
My emails are downloading to other platforms (eg my phone) using a different app.

I think you mean 128.12.Oesr.
pop account or imap? How many messages in Inbox?

I think it is a pop account, I have deleted emails now but has 4000 or so in inbox. The account won't compact folders, or do any function.

Any other ideas? My account still will not download emails. Its very frustrating following the latest update.
