Unable to send gmail emails via thunderbird
My smtp server settings are correct, why can't I send emails?

Posting a screenshot of your SMTP server settings pane and complete error messages may help.
He already provided a screenshot of the SMTP settings, which appear to be correct, but yeah he needs to clarify what does "unable to send" mean…
When you attempt to send what happens ? Do you get an error message ? If yes, please tell us word for word translated to English on what it says or post an image if it's already in English.
Do you have a VPN set up ? IF yes, then gmail will block the smtp server - you need to disable it or create a split tunnel for Thunderbird to use.
Used parameters as above When message sent, just get message sent 1 step an then it just spins and does not go
