How do I reconnect my third-party authenticator app if I'm unable to disable the original connection in my Firefox account settings?

In the "Manage Account" tab where I would be able to disable my third-party authentication app, it won't actually disable itself and I'm now locked out of my Firefox account. I've tried changing my password but I'm still locked out.

Do you still have recovery codes that work (a password reset invalidates these code)?

Try to log in to the Firefox Account directly via this website.

You need a fresh login to be able to change the two factor authentication setting(s).
