why firefox dosent have as many add ons as chome?

i love using firefox but it is failing continuously to serve with add ons i cant find required add ons in firefox as in chrome

Addons as in Extensions, Plugins, Themes (image and complete), search engines, etc as per https://addons.mozilla.org/faq

The vast majority of Extensions hosted at addons.mozilla.org are made by a third-party author or company.
