Why cant I set it to always translate spanish to english??? That option is greyed out and every time i encounter a spanish page I have to manually translate it. Im getting tired of that.

I installed the latin dictionary, but now my spell checker only uses that, and i cant delete the dictionary, and i cant get it to use English, even though english is still in the settings in general-language.

Hi, During spellcheck, the option to accept a flagged misspelling using the "Add To Dictionary" appears in the menu. Where are these entries stored? If they are editable I'd like to fix an occasional error. In addition, I'd like to keep a copy of my own additions that can be dropped into a fresh Firefox install.

I am currently in Spain, when connected to certain network parts of my page are auto translated to Spanish, even tho the whole page is usually in a different language and all of my settings are set to "English" I cannot find a way to change this specific setting as it seems to be linked to the provider of internet service directly?

The problem I encountered was that at least eight options, all in English, appeared in the browser's privacy and security settings, this has been in Simplified Chinese in previous versions of Firefox.

Firefox fait ses recherches en allemand sur mon ordinateur, alors que j'ai déjà plusieurs fois indiqué dans les paramètres que je voulais des recherches en français. Et rien ne change. Comment dois-je procéder pour changer ça?

Since the last update (V. 148.0 ) the translation button in the search bar has gone. I have checked settings there is nothing and there is no translation option in thew hamburger menu. What have you done !!!

I cannot reactivate spell check as I type, with English dictionary and the thick box ticked. Previously I could not get rid of spell check in my 2nd language (Turkish) but as I have managed, now I cannot restore spell check in English.

Can anyone help please?

Should I delete and reinstall Firefox? If I do will I lose my bookmarks?

I recently switched back to Mozilla Firefox as my primary browser, and I have been very happy with the switch. I was pleased (but not surprised) to see the new option to block AI enhancements. The first feature this blocks seems to be web page translations, which did surprise me. Web translation certainly predates LLMs. Is there a possibility an older translation feature might be made available for users opting out of AI? I know language is the specialty of these programs, so if you have not continued support for other translation options, I would understand.
