When Firefox is not started and I click on a URL in Apple Mail, Firefox starts but does not bring me to the page.

If Firefox is not running, and I click on a URL in Apple Mail, Firefox will launch, but instead of taking me to the URL page it takes me to my start page. If Firefox is already running, it takes me to the URL page. It should take me to the URL page regardless, which is what it did until release 25. It's an annoyance; every other browser (Safari, Chrome, Opera) takes me right to the page the first time. Is there something I can change that will give me the results I want, or am I stuck with it until you fix it?

Have you tried changing the value in the When Firefox starts: option? Go to Options-General Tab to change value in the When Firefox starts: option.

There are 3 choices. Try all of them one by one and see if any of them fixes the problem.

I've tried all three values, and none of them fixes the problem.
