For the last month now every time I click on a link in my browser that requires a Java Script opening in a brand new window, all I get is a blank window with no content. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java and this does not work. It's really frustrating because I browse a few sites that operate this way and now for some reason I can't and have to now run 2 different browsers. I have not changed any other settings in Firefox.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
