DuckDuckGo AI Resetting on FireFox
I have FireFox set up to reset every time I start a new session which causes DuckDuckGo's AI search to reset every time. Does anyone know how I can set it so it doesn't do that? It's annoying always having to disable to every time I open a new session.

I would very much appreciate some elaboration on "AI search to reset". How does a search engine reset?

It's DuckDuckGo's AI assistant that resets. I've attached a screenshot to hopefully help better understand what I am talking about.
Is this a cookie issue? For example, DDG sets some cookies storing your preferences, and everything works fine until the cookies are cleared? If you have Firefox set to clear cookies when it closes, you can add an exception for DDG. Two methods:
(1) While on the page, call up the Page Info dialog using one of these methods:
- Ctrl+i (for Mac, Command+i)
- (menu bar) Tools > Page Info
- click the lock icon in the address bar, on the drop-down click the > button, then at the bottom click "More Information"
When the dialog comes up, click the Permission icon at the top to show that panel.
Scroll down to "Set Cookies" and uncheck the "Use default" box, and then select Allow to let the site set persistent cookies.
(2) On the Settings page, Privacy & Security panel, Cookies and site data section
Click the Manage Exceptions button. Here, create an Allow exception for duckduckgo.com (or whatever server is used for their AI feature).
