Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

I have a Brother MFC-L2707DW printer. It quit scanning so I deleted the drivers and uploaded current drivers. It now scans and prints EXCEPT from the Firefox browser.

Gmail inbox not opening in Firefox. I can access google maps, voice, search. just not gmail. can access gmail from chrome. the inbox link gives me google help page. I can access gmail inbox in FF private window but not in regular FF. Please help.

Whit the new things of the profiles or something I just didn't like it so I just delete the thigs that appear in my face, but that deleted all my stuff(hystory, bookmarks, passwords), I supossley had all on my account on mozilla but it's not there, i don't know what to do, I already try the backup or something that appear in the support page but the only profile that is older than the rest doesn't work or is empty, pls I need help

I'm trying to understand Profiles, especially since I am transitioning to a new laptop.

On my older machine, I have an Original Profile. Since I've never specifically created a profile, I assume that Original Profile contains my current Settings, Bookmarks, etc. Is that a correct assumption?

My new machine also has an Original Profile. Do I need to copy my Original Profile from my older machine to the newer machine? Should I rename the profile on the new machine or leave it as Original Profile?

Since the last upgrade I have lost ALL bookmarks, History, everything is gone, Passwords also

I tried loading the old profile god knows what it is called, and there's still nothing

WHY DOESN'T FIREFOX BACKUP EVERYTHING BEFORE FORCING CHANGES

TURNS ME OFF USING FIREFOX.

Just found that using Iolo System Mechanic to clean up my desktop is constantly causing the loss of my bookmarks and possibly my passwords. I have tried to specify which file(s) to ignore in System Mechanic to avoid this issue, but it is not allowing me to specify the files in my Appdata folders that I suspect it is clobbering. Has anyone been successful with this? I am getting tired of restoring my bookmark files every time I use the program. My wife's computer is having the same issue, and even worse in that she has also had her entire bookmark backup files wiped clean, which required her to re-enter all of her bookmarks manually. The folks at Iolo want me to pay for support before I can get any help from them.

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

I struggled some time with download links, no matter what filename I specified in the download="filename" attribute, the file I got was always download(1..n). Now I put all into one zip archive. I have a german and an english page, the link is:

. I can't see a difference except the language. But: the download of the german link comes as "download.zip". The one from the english one as "backup.zip". WHY???

Bonjour, lorsque je veux me connecter à ma boite mail Zimbra de Free un message indiquant "chargement en cours" s'affiche après avoir rentré mon identifiant et mot de passe mais rien ne se passe, la page indiquant se message reste fixe. Dear All, I recently reinstalled Windows and updated to the latest Firefox. When I tried to sign in to sync/restore my bookmarks, Firefox could not recognize my password. I reset it and used the new password, but the bookmarks that appeared were outdated, and not all information synced to my current account.Could you please advise on the steps (or a quick solution) to fix this?Many thanks for your support in advance.Kind regards, Tareq Zeyad

My security suite is Norton 360. I refreshed FF and would like to place (as before) an icon in the address bar (to the left of puzzle piece) for the password manager extension. The extension is installed. Please help.
