By executing a JavaScript when the value attribute is assigned to an Input type date, a date in the format 'YYYY-MM-DD' (example: '2018-12-01'), retains the value in the value attribute, however, the date is not shown in the element, as if it had not been assigned.

This happens to me only in Firefox Developer, and not in Firefox Normal.

Ejecutando un JavaScript cuando se asigna al atributo value a un Input tipo fecha, una fecha en formato 'YYYY-MM-DD' (ejemplo: '2018-12-01' ), conserva el valor en el atributo value, sin embargo, la fecha no se muestra en el elemento, como si no se hubiera asignado.

Esto me sucede solo en Firefox Developer, y no en Firefox Normal.

Hola, Las versiones Firefox Quantum "normal" (actualmente vamos por la version 64) son versiones liberadas para el uso general, quiero decir ya probadas, las versiones Firefox Developer son versiones beta (actualmente version 65), pueden contener algunos problemas (bugs). Si has probado con un perfil nuevo para determinar que nada afecte al funcionamiento, puedes reportar el problema en el siguiente foro (En Ingles): https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ También es posible buscar si el Bug ya existe declarado, el tema es que palabras claves usar para buscar..
