Lighter fonts (from multiple families, and on multiple websites) are rendered so poorly they are barely legible.

I already tried disabled performance settings, and turning off ClearType in Windows (it barely had any effect)

How do we fix this?

I just upgraded firefox to v 113 64 bit with windows 7 ultimate. Now when I watch youtube in fullscreen there's a border around the screen. i don't use picture in picture and it isn't on yet the border won't go away no matter what I do. Please fix this or i will use another browser. i will include a screenshot from youtube in fullscreen mode look at it.

On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Hi, when I log into my bank I give my account number and then a password. I have told firefox not to remember my password but it is remembering the bank account number which automatically pops up when I am on the banks log in page. How do I stop this? Also when I signed up for this firefox help it asked for an email address and all my email addresses poped up for me to chose from. I didn't like this either. Appreciate any help. If these features can't be turned off whats the last version I can use that won't do this? cheers Neil

I have been using Firefox and GoToMeeting for years, suddenly this month (July 2023) I get the following message when I try to open a GoToMeeting session”

“Sorry, this browser isn’t supported. Join in your browser by opening the link below in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.”

I don’t want to use either of those browsers.

What can I do to keep both Firefox and GoToMeeting?

I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? Hi, this site when trying to login keeps looping, it has only happened recently and I've cleared cookies and disabled all the addons for it, the site works, but when trying to login it loops https://www.nexusmods.com and says in the loop-

users.nexusmods.com

On one web site (see attachments), my location is being detected as being outside USA while using firefox desktop browser, yet on the same computer, my location is being correctly detected as being inside USA.

You will see the asian words. When I change the pull dawn tab ("Saudi Arabia") to "USA", the asian lettering does not convert to English.

Not sure how to fix this.

I've been on the net since probably 1995, working in the computer industry. I buy a lot of items on the web, especially Ebay. I like to save the entire listing at the time I bought the item. Why, because listings change and it's frustrating. This way I have the full page in my Documents folder. Over the years, I've been running into problems with save Web Page Complete. More times then not it Fails, no reasons, just the little download icon goes red and it failed. That's how I know...I have read other support questions, but nothing other than a screen shot is recommended...Ugh. how can one screen shot save a page that scrolls in my browser for many pages...

So Why Do complete web pages fail to save?

Why are there no Descriptive Errors?

Is there something I can do to ensure I get this feature working again, reliably that is;-)

I am using DuckDuckGo with Firefox because I do not like auto suggestions filling up the search bar while I type. It's so annoying. I have ensured that Settings do not have auto complete in any way, but still they come. The only solution I can find on this website, which is Stop Auto Search in Firefox

There is a preference to change that back, but it does take a bit of work to find it because of the unusual name: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. The web page, for my bank, won`t open. I have been using their web page, for a number of years. When I go to the web page, and try to login, all I get is a screen, with a circle, that keep circling, as if it were buffering, and never gets to the login page. Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome seem to work, but not Firefox. My bank is Security Bank Of Kansas City. https://secure.securitybankkc.com/login

I have followed the fixes. It will work after I "Refresh Firefox" but goes back to not working again. Should I reinstall Firefox? How do I add this site to the exceptions? Thank you

We can’t connect to the server at www.cdc.gov.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

   Try again later.
   Check your network connection.
   If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

Well this happened after a Firefox Update with that i also suspect that using a User.js can aslo cause it would you like to look for the problem pls.

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! A brand new ThinkPad P71 windows 7 sp1 FF 101 All other browsers I use work ok. On an older machine that I am trying to replace, FF 101 works ok. So it is something in the system settings, but I had no luck this far.

Today, I cannot open Cox E-mail using Firefox, but I can with Google Chrome (which I pretty much never use). See the error message below, can someone help? I have a Dell E6520 laptop running Window 7. Thanks.

I can't for the life of me understand what is going on with my browser. Everytime I try to watch a video that I have purchased I get this error message:

"Firefox is installing components needed to play the audio or video on this page. Please try again later."

I have tried searching for a solution but no avail. I have disabled and re-enabled DRM, bit it was a no go. I tried re-downloading firefox, still had the same issue. I created a new profile, still won't work! I have been searching for solutions constantly and tried so many but none seem to work. Finally someone suggested that I check my extensions and App data and I saw a sign that said:

"widevine decryption module provided by google inc. will be installed shortly"

but it has been almost a day and it still hasn't been installed. In advanced preferences I looked up widevine and saw this:
