For the past couple of days I have been unable to send, save or discard Emails. I can do this in Microsoft Edge or on my iphone or ipad, so it can only be a Firefox problem.

My Firefox recently updated itself to version 112.0 - since then, when I close all its windows and then run FF again, on all websites opened in tabs (e.g. Facebook, Google Search etc.) I am logged off. In previous FF versions, my logged-in status was preserved between individual FF runs. Firefox not only logs me out of all sites, but also logs me out of the LastPass extension, which also stayed logged in in previous Firefox versions. Anyone knows what is going on? I dont want to have to relogin to all sites each time...

Hello, ever since I upgraded to version 112 I've noticed that Firefox is using up a lot of my ram. I currently have 32 GB installed, Firefox is using almost all of it making other Programs almost unusable. Because of this I now have to restart Firefox, but this is only a temporary fix

In task manager it shows that its only using ~1.6 GB (which is normal) but overall usage is at 90%, in process explorer it shows that Firefox is taking up 30 GB

To troubleshoot I've looked at both about:performance and about:memory but nothing looks out of the ordinary, they just show a normal usage. Clicking on "minimize memory usage" didn't do anything. Restarting my computer also didn't help

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. For the love of God, can someone explain who thought it was a good idea to remove the option to sort bookmarks menus by name? Please do not suggest users to open the All bookmarks and using the View > Sort option because it's not permanent, such useless option only applies temporarily while that window is open.

What version must I downgrade to in order to recover the bookmarks sort by name? Because of course the option won't be recovered. Kindly explain who, and why did you decide it was very useful for the end user to delete this option.

Minor issue but some help would still be much appreciated here.

On some sites, when I click the login field, Firefox suggests a list of possible identifiers. Among the suggestions there is one that is the true identifier I need to use the others are mis-typos that I probably have typed in error some time in the past.

I want to clean-up that list to keep just the true identifier. How do I do that ?

When I go to Settings > Passwords I only see the true login identifier. The other items in the list of suggestions do not appear. So it seems that it is not there that I must do the cleaning-up …

[I am appending an example with a list of login identifiers that Firefox suggests (the correct identifier is the last in the list) and the information that is stored in Passwords (only the true identifier is listed).]

Hi, I have a firefox account and I want to login to submit an extension. I am always asked to "Enable two-step authentication", and there is no way to escape it. If I 'cancel setup', the login will be stopped. I do not want to enable that and I do not want to be forced to install any app and I do not want to install "authy desktop" .

I have used that account before, and have submitted some extensions already. I do not know why I have to use two-step authentication.

How could I login then?

i used jeffersonscher to get all my tabs back from by old session but i restarted my pc and the session store jsonlz4 file got changed with a new one that didn't have all the tabs i previously had on it. When i did the restoring my jsonlz4 file was at 1:08am but when i accidentally restarted my pc it now is saying 2:31am and all the tabs that i have restored so far are on it but not the ones i haven't restored are not.

So is there a way to be able to get that old jsonlz4 file back so that i can restore all the tabs that i used to have.

I just created a website, but it's not working in Firefox. It works in Chrome and Opera. I get "Server Not Found".

I tried going to settings and clearing cache, that didn't work. I tried pressing shift while hitting reload, that didn't work. I also tried pressing Ctrl+shift+R and that didnt work.

Please advise!

I've been trying to copy an email address someone emailed me. (I use Microsoft Outlook.)

However, when I try to select the email address, Outlook seems to know I've selected it and performs some action, taking me to a different page. VERY ANNOYING!

Sites shouldn't be able to know when you're selecting text - that has nothing to do with them! How do I disable this?

So i was using this website called 9Anime and i was watching a show and i diabled my arrows for going backl 5 seconds and i have looked up everything i can to fix it and nothing has worked. Can anyone help me please ????

Can't use Firefox to access make an appointment page: https://myappt.sdil.net/#/ Had to use Chrome (ugh!). Uploaded the Chrome page, but can't even upload the screenshot of the Firefox page (it's totally black) because the upload just spins when I try to upload it here!

How come when I have only cookies/offline website data checked to clear it still logs me out of websites like Twitter, Twitch, Youtube, etc?

Active logins and Site settings is UNchecked and yet it still logs me out. What is the purpose of those 2 boxes I may be misunderstanding them

I'm enrolled in multiple classes at teachable.com and they both use my email, however, the classes are VERY different and I need two separate passwords. Firefox said NO. Is there a way to have two passwords using the same email address? I did try to log in when I signed up for the second course and it did not recognize my email address. The sign in process for the first site is slightly different and goes through the instructor's site, and then through teachable.com. My password for the first class is stored on Firefox under teachable...and I've emailed myself the password to the second class until I can resolve this. I thought there would be a comment field or something to differentiate the two courses. Please help. Many thanks!

I run a simple website. gcessa.org. Until recently I was able to import a .doc or .docx document converted to a text document into the site and it loaded like one would expect. Lately the characters ', ", and - have been resolving as a �. There might be others I'm not aware of. Which means the characters are not found in the codex. What do I need to do to resolve this issue. I believe it started after one of the last two updates. I don't see this happening in edge or chrome.
