Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. I have been using my banks website, www.lbandt.com, for years. Suddenly firefox cannot find the website, what is the problem? Have to have access or can't use firefox.

You search for a word using Control+F like any other program. It's highlighted on the page if it's there. Or you would think so. But no. Why does Firefox so often say it found a word when you can clearly see it's not there on the page? Nothing is highlighted. It even gives you the number of results on the Find bar. Some may be there but others are not. This has been like this for years. Why?

I am no tech expert.....I have not Idea of the problem..I have used these email programs for years with no problems for years. Any help would be greatfuly appriciated.

The Debian Firefox packages available are only 115.6. Thought it would be nice to have the latest. Grabbed all the dependencies according to the Mozilla web site.

Installed Firefox 121.0 as root and placed folder into /opt, as instructed. Went through all the settings and imported my bookmarks.

Now there is a 121.0.1 upgrade available but my browser won't automagically install the upgrade. Says click here to download. So I do. I get the entire tar.bz2 bundle, which creates a full directory structure, as if I was starting over.

Can I just move a few files from that into the existing /opt/firefox directory to get the upgrade? If so, which ones?

Or, can I move few files from the existing directory into the new version, and replace the whole lot? If so, which ones?

great work with devloping such fine browser from past week i have been having a issue while browsing youtube the browser gets stuck and i am not able to forward or rewind the video or if i switch tabs it takes some time and to load already loaded page kindly help me with the same warm regards satish

Something changed very recently, probably that new update. There are passwords and all manner of info I can't find....

I am missing MANY bookmarks I had in Firefox. Where did they go?

Can I somehow restore the previous version if necessary to recover them?

When i try to open youtube.com for example i used to only type in you or even you y for firefox to finish the whole URL for me, but sometime last month it dissapeared and never figuered out why after ALOT of trouble shooting to the point where I felt the need to create a new firefox account. Can you fix this for me? or just make everything deafult?

Firefox is my go to browser, pretty much the only one I use. I have logged into the akc.org webpage 1000s of times. Now, only on your browser (I tested two others), I get a blue button with a padlock image that reads "login to AKCAD," the I get sent to microsoft. I made sure my microsoft account was not hacked and it is not, and I logged out of it. I still keeping getting this; I added the succession of what happens in the attached images. Please figure out what the issue is. Thank you!

I am using Firefox 119.0.1 under Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3693

I had the page open in Firefox before the owner corrected the typo.

Immediately after the correction was online, all other browsers displayed the corrected version. But even now, hours later, after many resets by "Reload Tab", the Firefox tab still displays the typo-version.

I consider this to be a malfunction. "Reload tab" should bypass all caches, and reload the whole page directly from its server. - Is this a known bug? - If "Reload Tab" does not go to the source bypassing all caches, what doe it do? - Is there a workaround?

I am having an issue importing my passwords from Chrome. I am using version 121.0.1 (64-bit). I have tried the import from another browser, it doesn't work. I have saved the passwords as an CSV file and all I am getting is " Error: Missing field". I have tried to follow some fixes for this issue. When I try and manually go through and create a saved login all I get is an error and I would be asked to input an primary password even though I never created one. I tried to create one and it errors out and just says "Unable to change Primary Password." I have signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled = true signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled = true

The other issue I'm having and its inconsistent is pulling tabs to create an new window. Sometimes it doesn't work and other others it does. I have verified that browser.tabs.allowTabDetach

After accidentally closing Thunderbird, two message I was working on were still open.

I went to Windows Start and clicked on Thunderbird and it opened but neither of my two email accounts were shown. I was able to get to Support by clicking on Help in one of the messages.

I tried "Set Up Your Existing Email Address" and received the message "Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database." When I clicked on "Done", the message "Incoming server already exists."

When I click on "Account Setting", a screen appears that shows the accounts for both of my email addresses, and the settings appear to be as I remember them. Everything seems to be fine but Thunderbird simply won't load with my two email accounts.

A week or so ago I had to delete all of the Cookies on my computer to get another program to work. I don't know if the Cookies possibly needed for Thunderbird to load were deleted and that might be the problem.

It shouldn't be the cause of the problems I'm having now, but the Profile for Thunderbird is at the root of the C: directory: C:\0-FFox\Profiles. That was done to shorten the length of the file addresses.
