Since an update several days ago I am unable to link to sites or email addresses I receive in emails. Serious time waster. Also in some accounts I have had for years they don't recognize my password any longer when I try to log in via a link from an email.

I keep trying to add Honey extension using Firefox. It shows that I have downloaded the extension, but it is not working. I know I am doing something wrong, but I don't know what it is. Thank you!

In the bookmark-bar in my Firefox-installation contains the soft-button for the function "Import bookmarks". I do not need this function always showed in the bookmark-bar. How can i remove it ?

There is No PC Firefox search microphone icon in address bar and No PC Firefox search microphone icon in google search. I can tap Settings. Scroll to the Privacy and Security section and tap on Site permissions. Next, tap on Microphone. However, there is no search microphone icon on Firefox address bar or in google search to click on. I would like to change the order of Search Bar suggestions, if possible, because I find the "Firefox Suggest" section's results more relevant to what I usually look for.

Specifically, as shown in the image I attach, when I type, I get some suggestions, and then I can see the "Firefox Suggest" section. Is it possible to change the order and place it above the suggestions?

New computer, running Windows 11, McAfee LiveSafe came with for 30 day trial. I use Firefox, have since 1997. Just added Mozilla VPN. Old computer ran Xubuntu. Windows 11 needs antivirus because it's Windows. So. How compatible are McAfee LiveSafe and Firefox with Mozilla VPN? What suggestion, if any, does Mozilla have for an antivirus program that will work well for Windows 11 but not mess with Firefox and Mozilla VPN? Thank you.

My ISP is BT (UK) and I have 5 BT Mail email addresses. On the mail log-in page there is a sign-in box where I can choose which email address I wish to open. Unfortunately there are several instances of my main email address. Some with old passwords some from I know not where. I need to delete all those except the current one. I have tried clearing the cache and data but to no effect. The duplicates do not appear if I use a different browser, so it would seem to be a Firefox issue.

I could'nt play Netflix or Amazon videos on my Firefox browser, I have an old MacBook pro OS 10.9.5 (it's the last operating system I can use.. I have photoshop 6 and it won't work on any further OSs) I went to update Firefox, was not sure what version it was. and my computer asked" replace current version of Firefox with New" , I said yes, it did.. and then after I downloaded it, I noticed there was a circle with a slash going thru it on Firefox Icon, when I tried to open new firefox , it bascically said will not work with this OS. I could not go back and lost firefox alltogher, which also had my prefernces and autofill passwords etc. I went to Mozilla site to see if I could find an older version of firefox.. This is what I found : Firefox version 78 was the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users were moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update.

I downloaded it and it said It will not work on my OS, So, How can I basically get the same firefox I had or whatever the last version that works on my computer..and best case senario save my prefernces and passwords, which maybe might have been saved somehow when I tried to change in the begining .. thanks so much for your help.

I'm downloading a lot of images, and every time I do so a popup box appears showing the most recent five downloads and a button to show all downloads, It covers some of the icons I use for downloading images which is frustrating. If I right click on any of the downloads one of the options is to Clear Preview Panel, so I assumed it was called Preview Panel, but help does not know about that and I can't find how to stop it coming up (it used not to until I did something, I don't know what) It's driving me crazy.

I have a linux debian 11 o/s with up-to-date Firefox I don’t know which version at the moment it is whatever debian repo pushes down. I have 5 profiles on this particular computer with no previous issues. I decided to create another profile to be used for some test work and when I created it I then launched it and opened a few tabs to make sure it worked then closed. I planned on copying the profile files from another profile into this one so I went to the profile folder - /home/user/.mozilla/firefox/profile.names

Once there I saw my other profiles but could not locate this one so I went back to an open browser where I had the about:profiles page open and decided to delete that new profile and start over I figured maybe I accidentally saved it to a different directory. I hit remove it and it gave me the box asking if I wanted to remove files I chose yes I then go back to - /home/user/.mozilla/firefox but folder firefox was gone with all of my profiles all that was left in .mozilla was - /home/user/.mozilla/extensions and - /home/user/.mozilla/systemextensionsdev. Both of these folders - “extensions” as well as “systemextensionsdev” are empty. I go to the local directory for each profile and the data is still there for each of the profiles - /home/user/.cache/mozilla/firefox/profile.name.

The recycle bin is empty. A system-wide search for the profiles comes up with just the ones in the .cache folder. Back at the about:profiles page any attempt to open the preexisting profile results in a prompt asking me to create a new profile. I still have the one profile open and the addons are not working correctly. I did a bookmark export on this profile and doing so generated the “firefox” folder that had disappeared plus a profile folder using the same name of this open profile - /home/user/.mozilla/firefox'profile.name - it created a profile folder for this open profile using the correct name.

Any ideas on how this happened? Can the local profiles still in .cache be used to somehow restore the full profiles?

Firefox starts but when I type into the search box nothing happens. My RoboForm link does not work and neither do the bookmarks. I have had to resort to using Edge to get onto the internet. Jim Klein
