The Command+M keyboard shortcut only minimizes Firefox one time after the initial boot of the system and stop working thereafter. Opening the Window menu in the top menu bar and then clicking minimize also fails to minimize Firefox. The only thing that works to minimize the Firefox window is clicking on the minimize bar on the top left of the window.

How do I get COMMAND + M to consistently minimize Firefox?

I have web page that I am printing using different browsers. I have html elements that I have positioned relative and top for each printing page. so that they appear on specific location of print pages.

The positioned elements are just fine in chrome and safari. However in firefox the positioned element is displaying on first page and on second page it is getting hidden (need to add z-index value to show). From third page it is dragging whole content down upto the top position given to element.

Do we have any alternative workaround to position relative elements and top, This is the only issue with firefox.

After updating Firefox 118.0.2, I loose all my pinned an not pinned tabs! After restarting the updated version, all pinned tabs shows a globe-symbol and the not-pinned tabs where empty. After an additional restart of firefox ALL tabs are gone.

What I tied so far: restoring the Firefox-profile from a backup -> no success. uninstalling firefox and install a fresh (newest) version and restoring the profile -> no success.

The only way to get the tabs back, is to uninstall firefox, restore the profile from backup and install the old version 118.0.2!!

Is there any reason, why this update fails? Is there any way to successful update Firefox, without loosing all my tabs??

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

For the last several months, I have been unable to get audio input from any device working on Firefox. The mic inputs work in all other apps and browsers, are appropriately permissioned on Windows 11, and appear in the Firefox permission windows. No actual audio is received by the website.

I have installed Firefox clean, rebooted countless times, tried the Beta and Dev channel releases, and disabled all extensions, to no avail. I have ensured that I am on the latest releases, have tried various devices, run virus scans. I have included images of the Windows sound settings showing working Mic levels, Firefox showing the device in permissions, etc.

My sound drivers are up to date, and mics work in all other browsers and apps. This is limited exclusively to Firefox.

Sorry to trouble you, i recently un-pinned mozila from the task bar by mistake, as its my main browser i re-pinned it from the icon on my desk top, now i have lost all my logins and passwords and some recently saved bookmarks. Would there be a way of recovering them, again sorry to trouble you. Nigel

Hello, Firefox is set as my default browser. However, when I click on a link in an email or website, it always open in Chrome. I cannot get it to open in Firefox. thanks for your help.

From my adobe account, I try to launch my web based apps so I can use the web based adobe acrobat, and the browser page opens as a blank screen only. I am on an older mac book w/ Yosemite 10.10.5 and Firefox is up to date wiht 78.15.0esr (64-bit). Please help! I need to be able to manipulate pdfs. Thank you

I had Wavve.co app installed on my laptop. Was using it but started to have problems (ie, the app slowing and then not working at all). Firefox showed me a message that said something to the effect that this page was slowing down the browser, did I want to "Stop Page"?

So I clicked "Stop Page", but now even after doing a reset to a date PRIOR to installing the app, I still cannot access the app on this laptop. Will I now need to switch to another browser to continue working with Wavve? Is there ANY way to UNDO that action? Suggestions?

I can not log into my Harley ride planner account. Its not the websight as I can log in on my I phone. I get this message.The resource at “https://www.harley-davidson.com/etc/designs/h-d/images/dropdown-arrow-white-2.png” was blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking. I love pocket but it is infuriating. I do something and a pocket page suddenly comes up with like 10 pictures and click links to articles. (And I don't know what I did to get this pocket page to come up. It happens when I do something online and I can't replicate it! It's always by accident. I google pocket and login but ti's not the same page with the same articles.) I see several articles I would like to read. I click on one and at least I can usually read that one, but then I go back and can't find the other articles I wanted to read and I cant get back to the same page displaying the articles. Now there are different articles! Today I clicked on one I wanted to read, was told to log in, which I did, then it took me to a pocket page which didn't have the article i wanted, and I cant find it. I also wanted to read another article and can't go back to find it either. This is infuriating! Can anyone help? And I doin't even know how to get back here to find your answer unless it goes to my email chaplaindon2000@gmail.com help!

Basically, I have three different profiles in my Firefox with three different app icons, but only one of has notifications.

For some odd reason, the MacOS notification center is showing the wrong profile. It's like only one of the profiles is visible, or working. I tried resetting it, which is apples way of "deleting" it, but Firefox keeps forcing that particular profile and not my main one.

We recently implemented CatoCloud to update our company's security measures. However, we've encountered an issue where Firefox updates are not possible on PCs configured with CatoCloud. The suspected cause is the TLS Inspection feature. Currently, we've allowed an exception for the entire mozilla.org domain in the TLS Inspection settings to enable Firefox updates.

However, we are concerned that exempting the entire mozilla.org domain might be too broad. We would like to know the specific domains or IP addresses that require exception settings to ensure appropriate configuration. Could you provide guidance on the necessary exception settings for domains or IP addresses related to Firefox updates?

I kinda-frequently find myself in the situation that Firefox already downloaded an update, but some time passes before I bit the bullet of actually restarting it. So a new update has appeared - but I can't download it until I restart. So I will have to restart, reload session, download new update, restart again, reload session again.

So it would be great to be able to tell Firefox to forget about the already-downloaded update and just download the latest one. Can this be done?

(The reason why I delay restarting is because I have an unhealthy amount of tabs open, typically with many things in flight; so restarting makes me lose those things, plus there's always the possibility of some trouble while restoring all the tabs)

FWIW I'm in the Beta channel.

I am conducting research and Firefox keeps on deleting my browsing history. I have already extended the history limit in the settings and that has not helped. I believe I may have missed a setting. I would like for Firefox to remember my history as long as possible to better aid me in my research.
