The latest update for Wondows 10 prevents Firefox (and Edge) from loading. Everything works fine once I've uninstalled the latest update so the problem is clearly theirs. I can't be the only person experiencing this problem but contacting Microsoft is next to impossible. I wonder if you can: 1) alert them to this issue; and 2) pressure them to fix it as constantly uninstalling the updates is a pain!

Whatever you changed is not allowing my bank to sign me in without jumping through hoops. They said I need to get you to allow their cookies - how do I do that for a specific site?

In every other App (PC and browser) my mouse scroll wheel behaves normally but with Sheets, in Firefox browser, the slightest wheel movement causes the sheet to scroll dozens of lines at a time. It doesn't misbehave with Sheets in Chrome. I've tried changing mouse settings and settings in Firefox but to no avail. Is there a setting somewhere in Sheets or Firefox that I can change to reduce the scroll speed?

Firefox used to show our browsing history from years ago. Tonight we tried to access our history and all of a sudden it goes no further back than this month. How did this happen, and how can we get the older history back?

We have been researching this for several hours tonight and have already tried many of the suggestions such as viewing the places.sqlite file--which we did, but which also only showed history going to the beginning of June--trying to view the index.dat file--which came up empty using the index.dat analyzer reader--and trying to read a JSON file that is called "session store backups."

I've searched and tried all the solutions I could find, but my FF browser still shows my timezone as Central, which is two hours ahead of my timezone, Pacific. MS Edge displays correctly, it's just FF that has the issue. There are a couple of add-ins that say they can update the timezone in FF, but not sure if I should use them (not trusted).

I verified that privacy.resistFingerprinting is set on false. Also, my control panel timezone is correct and set as Pacific, but just to see if it would correct it, I changed it and did a restart, changed it again and did a restart, and FF is still displaying Central time.

Hello. I just created a master password to protect my website passwords. However, this master password is required to start a session with Firefox. My suggestion is that you do not require the master password to start a Firefox session, only to access the passwords information, or to create and remember a login password for a new website. It is a hassle to enter the master password every time I want to use Firefox. Or should I keep firefox open the entire day?

I was having problems with my email and was looking more closely at those settings as well as firefox/ deleted cache, cookies , etc. 5 months ago my email was hacked so I am being extra cautious....

I just discovered there are many items listed that say to save the application. I do not recall adding these.... How did they get there? I recall whatever was listed I chose that I be asked what to do with it. Here is a screenprint so you can see what the items are. I use Linux. The only change I made after seeing this is to ask me about anything not listed. The answer had been to save. Should I change them all to ask me? I cannot find the answer to this issue in Norton, Windows, or Gmail, so I wondered if it's an issue with Firefox. Shortly after a Firefox upgrade, I started missing content in emails. One example is the verification code from Firefox was not showing on my computer screen when I opened the gmail from Firefox. I had to open the gmail on my iphone to view the verification code. Several emails do not show the message. Also, I am unable to just open an attachment to view now. All attachments are downloaded. This is not a problem on my other computer or iphone, but it started to be an issue on this computer recently.

When I attempt to open FF V101 it will only open to the left. It will go ahead and fully open if I click on the expand tool in the upper right corner of browser (or what there is of it). Any ideas out there?

I have attempted to download and use a highlighter in 3 previous occasions, now...(maybe like a fool) have made yet another attempt. Why do developers, etc., make it so difficult to first of all: Understand how to use it? Then how and where is it to be found then activated when reading an article that we want to highlight...? ? ? ? ?

Come on guys.......please start thinking like a lowly end user out here and stop slapping each other on the back when you produce something within your labs. Sorry ...... but I am sick of dealing with this sort of thing.

I use Firefox as my default browser on my windows 10 pc. Why is it I am constantly having to verify my laptop with CAPTCHA nonsense??? I clear my cookies etc all the time. When I used MS Edge - never had this issue.

Also, why don't you have chat support? Email responses is rediculous and should be only used as a confirmation to a chat session. When are you getting live chat support?

I've already looked through the FAQ and various solutions online and have not been able to find a solution that works. My issue is that while Firefox sync is signed in (and working) on 2 computers, as well as my iPhone and iPad, I have lost the password to the account and am not able to recover it from any of these devices. It seems the password saved in my "Passwords" is incorrect, and that seems to be the only place it was saved. I didn't write the password down anywhere, setup a recovery key, secondary email or two setup authentication.

I DO have access to the primary email account, but don't see any way to use that to recover the password either. As I am already signed in to sync, I AM able to add new devices using the QR code, but that doesn't seem to work for new computers (like the laptop I just bought). I have already extracted the saved passwords and bookmarks, and transferred them to a new account (the account I am signed in with right now).

However, I would rather use my original account instead of having two, nearly identical ones. I would also rather not fully reset my account as there might be something else I forgot to record that is buried in there somewhere. Is there some way to recover or extract my Firefox account password from one of the devices I am signed into? or is totally resetting the account the only option available?

A few minutes ago, I submitted a question from my laptop which uses Firefox and Windows 10. I just noticed that your system showed that my question was coming from Chrome Windows 10 and from an IP address that matches my Ipad and NOT my laptop.

How is that possible? I didn't send my question from my ipad. I sent it from my laptop which uses Windows 10 but Firefox; and I don't have Chrome on my laptop or my ipad. So how could your system pickup Chrome when it's not in my home anywhere, and why would it detect my Ipad's IP address instead of my laptop/regular home IP address? (I have no sync between my Ipad and my laptop).

Please clear up this mystery.

I saw this same issue posted on here, but I press the shift key while using the Firefox browser and what appears to be a developer menu pops up at the bottom of the page, the crappy thing is this is occuring on my laptop so my keyboard is part of the computer lol

For some whatever-reasons (TLDR; I need to see the whole domain (including subdomains) clearly, unlike the default of only highlighting the TLD&second-level domains[1]) I want to disable the color-distinction which highlights TLD and second level domains.[2] Is there config to do so? If not where should I propose one?

[1]: for example ko.wikipedia.org and en.wikipedia.org will have wikipedia.org highlighted, and that's what I can't accept because ko.wikipedia.org (Korean) and en.wikipedia.org (English) is completely different site. (Some might say you can distinguish by language, but there are some English sites which shares the same domain on wikimedia.org, so you get the point here.) [2]: From the screenshot you can see only `wikipedia.org` is highlighted. I want to make it highlight all of en.wikipedia.org. (If I need to highlight everything including the site path below the TLD, I can accept that.)

I use Firefox search engine.

I am a Rogers/Yahoo mail.

I have not signed up for Thunderbird because Rogers says they do not "support" it and will not provide any help for any third-party email problems.

Lately, when I compose an email or receive an email in my Rogers email, they contain the letter "A" in a circle with a dark brown "brick" appearing background, directly in front of my email address, and that is accompanied by the words "Mail Service." This started only recently.

Rogers said they have never seen this and asked what search engine I am using. I told them Firefox. They suggested I try testing with a different search engine, so I used MS Edge, and I did NOT get the "A" or the "Mail Service" words.

Why is this now happening when I log onto my Rogers account using Firefox search engine?

Hello, There when I click on the videos section of a youtube chanel on firefox, I can only see the videos for the past three months. Anything past that I cannot see. The same problem doesn't happen on chrome, where I can go right back to the channels first video.I'm running Windows 10 firefox 100. Isthere a solution.

Every time I click a link in Firefox it gets denied. I get notifications like You don't have permission to access this site. Works in Microsoft Edge. Have already tried emptying cookies and caches.
