firefox will not display
firefox will not diplay when I open it. It appears to flash toward the right side of the monitor and hide. It shows as it is open, on task bar but will not maximise? OS windows 7.

You can also try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "~/Library/Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist)

hello jsferr, maybe the file that holds the firefox window preferences got corrupted - you could try the following:
- launch firefox in safemode by pressing the shift-key while it starts (a selection dialog should open up, in there select continue in safemode)
- then go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information and click on profile folder/show folder and close firefox.
- a windows explorer window should have opened up - in there delete the file named localstore.rdf & start firefox normally afterwards.
