how do I get rid of xmarks. I never installed it and I can't find it in the control panel
see above this feature is only on my desktop and i can't get rid of it

Hi,
If it was installed as a Firefox extension you can try to Remove it in Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons > Extensions.
On the other hand, if it was installed as a Windows application or Internet Explorer application, you may have to uninstall it via the Windows OS Control Panel, or via the browsers concerned. The Windows support would be helpful.

hello howsue, have a look if it's listed in firefox > addons > extensions & remove it from there.
