the firefox button is no longer on the top of the page and i can'd find it
the search engine bar at the top disappears and only reappears when i move my cursor up there and it didn't use to do that. also, the firefox button is not there either. i uninstalled and then reinstalled firefox but it didn't change anything. can you help? can i have the old version back?

You are either in Full Screen mode - press F11, or
Showing the Menu Bar(File, Edit etc) - right click on toolbar space and uncheck Menu Bar.
