When I try to click the + to open a tab, it does nothing. I can choose to open stuff in a new tab, but this button will not work.
I use the + button to open tabs multiple times throughout the day. But as of today, it does nothing. No messages pop up, nothing. I don't know why it's doing this, and I deleted every add on and such that I don't use anymore to try to eliminate the problem, but it does not seem to be working.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
- Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
- Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
I found out the problem. It was a stupid gamebar one of my apps on Facebook insisted on uploading. Once I deleted that, the tab works.
