When I print a page, the pictures are missing. They are there in the preview.

All webpages, or only specific webpages?
If it is specific webpages, please link to a few examples so we can check those pages out.
There is no preference in Firefox for controlling whether images are printed or not, the only thing close to that is a pref for Print Background (colors & images) - in File > Page Setup. If it shows in Print Preview, it should be printed to paper.
