Recently Firefox will not allow me to order on Amazon, though Internet Explorer works.
For the past week or two, instead of the previous ordering options on Amazon (Add to Basket or 1- Click ordering), Firefox is displaying Quantity, with a drop-down box with a numeral, or Dispatch to (with a drop-down box with my name). However, clicking on any of this has no effect whatsoever. I have had to resort to Internet Explorer, which works normally. What has changed and how can I put it right? I have been using Firefox for years without problems and prefer it, but now I may have to make Internet Explorer my default browser. Please help.

Well, this reply is interesting, if not exactly helpful. Since I initially reported my problem with Amazon on Firefox in December a few more arbitrary features have disappeared : the arrow from the search box (enter on the keyboard still works) and the stars on individual reviews, for instance. As the difficulties are happening on two different browsers it seems the fault must lie with Amazon.
Neither Firefox nor IE will allow me to order on Amazon. Both Chrome & Safari will. Amazon tech support says the issues probably lies with Windows. Amazon doesn't have a solution at this moment. Searching on Amazon with FF also often has problems.
As a workaround one can keep, say, Chrome open, & copy & paste the address bar info from FF into Chrome. The info contained therein also has codes identifying you. So for example Chrome shows me as a Prime member & has me signed in.
Safari & Chrome have fewer features. Hope FF fixes this problem.
