Random cookies are being stored in firefox
I have strict tracking protection turned and and i have a rule set for both https and http for bing, yahoo, and some other sites, and no matter how many times i delete their cookies from the settings menu they keep coming back and i have no idea why. I dont see a logical reasons why my extensions would be doing that

Why do you assume your extensions are responsible? Does it still happen with all your extensions disabled?
Are those rules block exceptions ? Are you visiting those websites? Note that some extensions (security software) may create special/fake opt-out cookies that are send instead of the real cookie, so if you see a large number of cookies then this can possibly be what you see.

Cookies are needed for sites to work and allow you access to the site usage. Without this you will not be able to use or go to their site. This is a give and take if you want to use their sites. Block those sites and you will be blocked from accessing them.

I am just trying to think of the reasons where they could be coming from. In a private window where half of my extensions are off i am not storing any cookies on bing.com for example.

Yes they are block exceptions. Nope, never visited bing, nytimes, or yahoo. Never in my life.
I kinda thought of that too but all of those security and privacy extensions are running in private windows aswell and i am not storing cookies there so im kinda stumped.

In the cookie manager (Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data), it usually shows a last used date/time, for recent visits even in seconds.
What does it show for those cookies ?
Did you create the exceptions for the top level domain (https://bing.com) as this includes subdomains ?

There are plenty more, basically for almost every site i visited since i cleared them yesterday
