I use FireFox almost exclusively; however, I am now experiencing a problem accessing a Safe site, Vitacost.com. Now, whenever I need to access Vitacost.com to order products, I have to use another browser, Edge. Edge does fine. Why not FireFox?

Hello,

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot of the issue you are facing. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Note: If you have problems when uploading the image to this forum, you can use imgur. com or a similar image host if the image appears to hang on upload, then add a link to the image. However, this may delay a response if the external link needs review by a moderator.

Thank you!

What happens when you try to load that site?

Terry and Spencer, thank you for your willingness to try to help me with my question as to why I can no longer access vitacost.com using my Firefox browser. This communication with mozilla. org support is all new to me. In fact, it took me awhile to figure out how to respond to you. Hopefully, you will get this message. The uploaded image below looks so small; but, when you click on it, you should be able to read it. Thank you! Don

"You don't have permission to access..." errors are characteristic of a firewall that protects the server against misuse and this firewall thinks something is suspicious about the HTTP request. If you use a proxy or VPN then try to use a direct connection. You can try to clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences) to see if that fixes it. I've also seen cases where having "Resist Fingerprinting" enabled caused this issue to occur.

If this all doesn't work then you can try "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history item.
