Preferences and passwords
I cannot access the preferences and my saved passwords in Firefox for Mac on my computer. When I go to preferences in the menu bar or type command-comma nothing happens at all. I'm worried to say the least!

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,
Note: For Firefox v56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords Or type about:logins<enter> in the address box. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.
Press the Exceptions button and see what's inside.

Thank you. I'm in! Phew. But very strange...nothing inside the 'exceptions' box.
The 'exception' is a list of websites where the browser does not fill in the login data.
Exceptions stores the websites where you decline to store (Save Never) new login credentials, so Firefox wont ask you again to save a new login for this origin (protocol and hostname). You can still use "Create new login" in Lockwise and use "Use Saved Login/Password" in the context menu to fill a saved username and password, this also works if you disable saving logins (i.e. no checkmark on "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites").
