while on a call with HP to find out how to scan to email a series of tabs were closed. Is it possible to retrieve tabs that have accidentally been closed?

Firefox keeps a large undo stack for reopening closed tabs and you can reopen the last 25 closed tabs. See also "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows". This maximum is set via prefs on the about:config page.
- browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo = 25
- browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo = 3

Try to right-click a tab bar and select Undo close tab from the context menu.
Thanks, This probably would have solved my issue had I tried it sooner. Before the home page was opened. So thanks again I'll keep this idea in mind.
