Firefox did an automatic update install, and now all windows are drastically affected. For example, my Google calendar, I can't differentiate the colors of each of the calendar. It's as if all the colors have been deleted. All lines are bold. All text has a white box behind the type. I can't figure out how to change it back. And now there's a folder on my desktop called Old Firefox Data. I appreciate the help, this has been my go-to browser forever but it's unusable at the moment.

Never mind - found the answer in a post from five years ago:

This will happen if you override the website colors and have possibly enabled a High Contrast theme.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : "Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above"

Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.

See also "New" in the release notes.

Firefox now automatically enables High Contrast Mode when "Increase Contrast" is checked on MacOS in the Accessibility settings.
