Hello everyone! thank you for your assistance and expertise ahead of time as any help is heavily appreciated.

I've been trying to find a way to disabled downloading in Firefox all together. The reason for this is per my organization's requests. As they do not want users downloading anything what so ever.

I've found extensions that can do this, however since I'm tweaking a profile in which is shared amongst all users. Its not the best solution since I have to manually check the add-ons on every time I make a new user profile.

Is there by any chance a means for me to disable downloading as a whole within either userChrome.css or about:config?

Any help again is greatly appreciated.

I can't think of a preference that would prevent downloading.

Also, would that mean if a website forces downloading for a PDF I wouldn't be allowed to read that PDF?
