Had to do forced shutdown after getting 'hacked' - Can't bring Firefox back up as I know it will restart and that tab will be retored & try and tale over my PC again
Is there a way that I can bring Firefox back up without it restoring the open tabs including the one that is trying to take control of my PC ? I've looked at the solutions in the Knowledge base but didn't find one that matches this problem ..... Thanks in advance

Well I got lucky, the problem went away by a funny good action.
I decided before doing anything else to my PC to take a backup of ALL my files. I had a new backup device which I had purchased recently. Plugged it in, and one of the steps it does at the beginning is open a NEW clean iteration of your DEFAULT browser, which for me is Firefox. Wow, so pleased to see that & not it restoring the open tabs when I had to do the forced shutdown. Hopefully this could help someone else in the future
