Why can I not save pictures from Zillow.com using Firefox, but I can when using Microsoft Edge

When I log on to Zillow.com using Firefox I am unable to save photos from the listings. No matter what type of file I designate it will not save a copy of the image. Yet, when I follow the same procedure using Microsoft Edge, or Internet Explorer, I have no problem saving the images. Any ideas???

Can you save images via "Tools -> Page Info -> Media" ?

still cannot save an image from here. Same result, and a ridiculous amount of steps to expect someone to go through for each picture they want to save from a single listing.

What happens if you try to save an image on this website?

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

When I try to save an image it goes through the process, but when I access the saved image it is blank.

If I pop up the slide show, then right-click an image, then Ctrl+click View Image to direct the image to a new tab, I think I see a possible issue: the file name ends with .webp, which is a newer format that not all image editors can handle.

You could try disabling webp images in Firefox and see whether that helps. Here's how:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste webp and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the image.webp.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false

Then reload the Zillow page (Ctrl+r) to trigger the server to send a different format (JPEG) going forward. Does that work?
