Firefox is freezing with the master password set
I have noticed that if I have a Master Password set and restart FF, FF will hang indefinitely. If I remove the Maser Password FF will restart normally.

hi, could you test if the same problem is still occurring in firefox 61 beta (as it contains a fix for a problem that is somewhat similar): https://beta.mozilla.org

I have tried to set my Homepage to something that doesn't require a password, e.g. www.Google.com, and I still have the hang.
The only way I have around this hang is to force restart until safe mode is enabled. Once that happens I can enter my password and then remove the master.

Note that you should use a separate profile for the beta version to avoid profile corruption.
I tried beta and it worked.
Funny thing is, when I revert back to the main release 60.0.2 and reset a master password I no longer have the hang upon restart.
Maybe it had something to do with my profile since I created a custom profile for beta and then reverted to my old one later...
In the end seems to be ok now. Thanks.
