Hi, Sorry to hear having issue. Do you know what caused the missing Profile ? Is the a folder on your Desktop called OldFirefoxProfile ? If so can rescue parts of it from that.

This is where your Profile should be, is there a New one Created ? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data If so your old one was found to be corrupted. Is also possible if Profile is still there to rescue something out of it.

My computer was locking up to i rebooted it. When i went to launch Firefox again, thats when it started happening. I have a folder on my desktop (see attachment) as well as one in my library/application support file. Both named firefox and both have the same files in them.

Create a new profile : https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Tried that in terminal. Soon as i typed in /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P

and hit return, again, the same message comes up. Missing or unaccessible profile!

Hi not a Mac person so no idea. Can you not create a new profile ? Have you found your old profile files at all ? Is it on your Desktop in OldFirefoxProfile folder. Have you Refreshed ?

What profile is set as the default profile (has Default=1) in profiles.ini?

Does this profile exist if you check that in the Profiles folder?
