I have many passwords saved. Firefox latest edition does not have my password manager enabled. I can't find the "key" icon to open the manager and change preferences. Please show me how to open missing panels or whatever so I can continue. Thank you, Robert Peruzzi

Password manager is enabled by default, but if you are looking for the password manager built-in to firefox, then it will be in Options > Privacy & Security > Forms and Passwords. Just click on Saved Logins.

If you need any more help, please be more clear in what you are asking for. Currently, it is not clear as to what you are looking for.

Your better off using a 3rd party software called KeePass that is better at managing your logins and password.

Thank you for your help. Somehow, my password manager got disabled. I was able to reach the manager and re-enable it thanks to you. The missing "key" was evidently in an older version. See for instance: https://screenshots.firefox.com/bSzD6B9YniBRhhmo/support.mozilla.org

Thanks for your advice. I do use a third party software my passwords. There are a few for which FireFox is more convenient for me.

You only see the Key icon on the location/address bar when you are on a website with a login form and you haven't stored this username and password assuming that the Password Manager is enabled and you aren't in Private Browsing mode.
