This just recently started. When I am done browsing I always clean using CCleaner Professional. Just recently I see that Firefox is showing just 1 Temporary Internet Files cleaned while it shows several hundred on IE. This is opposite of what had been up to now, and not what I want. If I wanted to browse through IE I would choose it as my default browser. It seems to me that Firefox is merely routing through Internet Explorer. How can I fix this?

Some multimedia files are cached in Temp Files in the Windows Operating System and not in the Firefox cache, due to some plugin residing in the operating system and not within the browser itself. Typically it is the Windows Media files.

You shouldn't be using CCleaner for Firefox, use what is built into Firefox to clear browsing history and cookies.

Many reports received here of CCleaner messing up Firefox data files.

I didn't say Windows Operating System Temp Files, I said Internet Explorer temporary files. Your answer is very similar to the answer Dorothy got-'Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain' Again I say that it looks like Firefox is routing all my browsing through Internet Explorer which obliterates any reason to use Firefox at all.
