How do i remove toolbar at the top of my screen?
Firefox has installed a search bar at the top of my screen which is taking up space and duplicating the search field inside the FF window. It cannot be moved anywhere, cannot be dragged into the customize section, does not respond to right-clicking, it's just there, and I hate it. I will uninstall Firefox and move to another browser if I don't find a solution soon. For my sins, I'm on Windows 10

Can you attach a screenshot?

- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- make sure you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
You should only have the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar positioned after the location bar and you should be able to move this search bar to the Customize palette.
You can check your extension to see if one of them has added this search bar.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Is this bar persistently on the Windows desktop and look something like this:
That's not Firefox, that's some third party bundleware called Web Bar. More in these threads:
