Why does user name stay on system after I log into email or other sites. Never did till vs 49
With the install of 49.0.1 the user name to log into emails, banksites and other online shopping remains in the system. It never did that before this version. WHY? I know I can turn this feature off in IE and Chrome. Why did Firefox add? I can find no choices under options to turn this feature off. I seem Firefox has remember it for keeps. I deleted Firefox, then rebooted system and then did download of vs 49 again. Same thing happens, except this time, sign in USER IDs are already in the system What can I do to change this Option?????? This should be an optional choice not one that I am stuck with. Please advise. Last few vs of Firefox and kind of gone from bad to worse with more problems, crashes and screen lock ups. I can use Chrome and Opera and no problems. I really like Firefox and have used for years, but maintaining the USER in the system is a no - no for me.
When U go to Yahoo or any other Website to type in USERID, I type the "S" and on a drop on bar there appears all the USER IDs I have that begin with an "S" Not a good idea and I travel frequently and lap top sits in hotel for hours while out shopping or working on a short project. I need help FAST. Thanks for listening.

If you go into Privacy section of the Firefox options you should be able to change this option. In the History section, select Use custom settings for history and ensure that the Remember search and form history option is deselected.
Note: You may need to Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in order to remove the usernames that have already been saved.
