Stop Deactivating Flash
Why does firefox keep deactivating flash? I found the setting but I can set it to always activate. What is this? I don't need Firefox protecting me. Warn me once and then let me change the setting permanently for all sites.

Hi
When Mozilla becomes aware of add-ons, plugins, or other third-party software that seriously compromises Firefox security, stability, or performance and meets certain criteria, the software may be blocked from general use. For more information, please read this support article.
Security flaws have been identified in Flash that could lead to users inadvertently downloading "ransom-ware" (for example; Cryptlocker) through users visiting a site that has toxic code embedded in it. Adobe has recently published an updated version that (should you need Flash) I recommend you download.
Updating Flash should be a fairly straightforward process. This article should walk you through it.
Aside from this, Mozilla and others across the web are working on alternatives to Flash that will make the web a better place.
Flash 18.0.0.209 was released today - that version isn't blocked.

I have a new computer. My installation of Flash was less than a week old. My installation of Firefox is only a few minutes older than Flash.
I'm a web developer.....I am often neck deep in code and browsers and can't restart my browsers every time Firefox/Flash decide I need to update.
I don't want Firefox telling me what I can activate or not activate based on what they think is safe or not safe. I realize the average person may need some extra hand holding to keep safe but I don't need it and I want away to turn it off.
