I can't get Firefox to download. I have reset it. I have also added the addon for files > 1G. It is there, enabled, but a message says it's out of date. It is the one I downloaded from the Firefox addons page. The download directory is listed, the functioning is otherwise OK, but no downloads! I have been through the forums, tried many of the ideas there, but it looks like a common problem.
