Update to 38 Makes Options More Awkward to Access

more options

With the latest Firefox update to versiobn 38.0 the Options drop down has converted to an in-browser list of tabbed options. I want to see if this can be changed back as:

(i) The previous version was much easier to navigate and quicker to adjust as it was so much smaller and simply overlaid the content you were viewing at the time at the top instead of requiring a switch to another whole browser window to be adjusted.

(ii) The previous verison remembers the option you had last used and, for example, I frequently switch cookies on and off in the privacy section depending on when I am using them but now it simply defaults to the first tab and does not remain on the option which you last used.

Thanks.

That's solved it. Brilliant. Thanks!

And if that ever goes away, you can bookmark about:preferences#privacy to get to the privacy panel directly.
