Yesterday, I wrote a letter on Wordpad. I saved it but now I can't retriever it.

If you have downloaded a document from internet and opened it in Word for editing then this document is stored in the Windows temp folder. You should always save the document after editing to another folder and possibly under a different name to avoid dataloss as it is not guaranteed that you keep files in the temp folder.
You can check in Word whether automatic backups have been created (undo history).

Hi, I'm afraid that this isn't really a question for Mozilla Support, however if you open the WordPad menu (blue rectangle in top left corner) you should be able to see your recent documents. Otherwise it depends where you saved it, which might be Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures etc.
