When I open links in new windows it will display on the same monitor. In the past this had opened on the last monitor Firefox had been closed on. I have tired moving the screen over and closing on my second monitor, it worked in the past but does not anymore. I noticed this issue with the release of 32. I compare a lot data so not having to move the window to the other monitor would make my day easier. Thank you.

With the link that you provided I found an add-on that makes opening a new window in another monitor easier, Monitor Master, but I am looking more for a solution inside the settings of Firefox. This is something that I will be sharing with others that do the same work and when Firefox gets a update this could go no longer function. Thank you for the insight though.

When Firefox closes, it saves information like where the window was and its size. And other stuff.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

This may get you started. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=monitor

I called for more help, but this is all I can do for you. Good luck.

Mockery,

IMO, as far as extensions go that one is fairly basic.

Three JavaScript files, a few text files, some images, a couple of HTM files, and the install.rdf file. Little chance of it just stopping to work after a Firefox update, except for install.rdf maxVersion [which is currently set at Firefox 33] causing a problem if that extension was pulled from AMO for some reason. And the maxVersion can be easily remedied by editing the install.rdf file - if you have a copy of that extension saved.

Right-click the Add to Firefox and use Save Link As ... to save it.
