hello arsenallyr, when you type about:sync-log into the address bar and open the latest one or two error logs, can you copy their contents and put them into http://pastebin.mozilla.org/ or a similar service and paste a link here on the forum? this would be very helpful in assessing the problem. thank you!

No, reboot is not working. I cannot sign into sync at all. Every time I signed in, it would asked to reconnect.

when you type about:config into the address bar (and confirm the info message), search for "accounts", do the same sync server urls show up for you as in the screenshot?

Hey arsenallyr and phillip, The logs posted are trying to sync to the old sync server. Are all of the computers connected to the old sync or are some still not unlinked?

What would be really interesting is to know what versions all of the devices connected to the account are on and what kind of devices are still on the old sync/ new sync.

What steps did you take to update to the new one?

If it tries to sync with old server, no wonder it doesn't work. I update firefox often and I am using firefox 31.0 which i believe it's the latest version

the cited Bug report is related to self-hosted Fxa servers and probably isn't related to this question thread - moderator Ed

It seems that the prefs are messed up because of this:

a possible solution is reset all the accounts prefs and restart:

 - disconnect sync if signed in
 - open about:config and search |accounts| 
 - right click on each pref and click |reset|
 - restart Firefox
