Hello,

I have just setup a new desktop computer which has the latest versions of Firefox and AVG Free.

Firefox is not working properly, sometimes not completely loading pages, images or is not loading pages at all.

If I disable the AVG Web Shield Setting “Enable QUIC/HTTP3 scanning” then Firefox behaves normally.

The build of AVG Free is 26.3.10886.974 and the version of Firefox is 149.0.2.

Just found that using Iolo System Mechanic to clean up my desktop is constantly causing the loss of my bookmarks and possibly my passwords. I have tried to specify which file(s) to ignore in System Mechanic to avoid this issue, but it is not allowing me to specify the files in my Appdata folders that I suspect it is clobbering. Has anyone been successful with this? I am getting tired of restoring my bookmark files every time I use the program. My wife's computer is having the same issue, and even worse in that she has also had her entire bookmark backup files wiped clean, which required her to re-enter all of her bookmarks manually. The folks at Iolo want me to pay for support before I can get any help from them.

Running into more sites rejecting FF as my browser. Latest as of 4/14/26 : https://carespaceportal.com/chart Had to click to ignore notice to switch to Chrome. Site seems to function w/ FF 149 so far when i log in. I used MS BING search points to extend my Win 10 edition Desktop computer 1 year... There was no mention about my MS Win 10 edition. I'm logged in,,Not sure why this FF page "unable to pull your browser’s troubleshooting data"....

How to close status bar of the search bar when inputting? When I input a search key word, below will show a status(or a remind) bar. This is very annoying, how to turn it off? Thank you!

Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

I have a Brother MFC-L2707DW printer. It quit scanning so I deleted the drivers and uploaded current drivers. It now scans and prints EXCEPT from the Firefox browser.

Whit the new things of the profiles or something I just didn't like it so I just delete the thigs that appear in my face, but that deleted all my stuff(hystory, bookmarks, passwords), I supossley had all on my account on mozilla but it's not there, i don't know what to do, I already try the backup or something that appear in the support page but the only profile that is older than the rest doesn't work or is empty, pls I need help

I used Pocket for a while. It was excellent since it allowed taking a webpage and converting it to a document that could be copied and pasted to Microsoft word. This allowed further analysis and work on the contents of the page and was extremely useful.

Now that Pocket is gone is there another extension or a purchased extension that does the same thing on the present day Firefox.

I presently use Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Appreciate any suggestions.

I struggled some time with download links, no matter what filename I specified in the download="filename" attribute, the file I got was always download(1..n). Now I put all into one zip archive. I have a german and an english page, the link is:

. I can't see a difference except the language. But: the download of the german link comes as "download.zip". The one from the english one as "backup.zip". WHY???

Bonjour, lorsque je veux me connecter à ma boite mail Zimbra de Free un message indiquant "chargement en cours" s'affiche après avoir rentré mon identifiant et mot de passe mais rien ne se passe, la page indiquant se message reste fixe. My security suite is Norton 360. I refreshed FF and would like to place (as before) an icon in the address bar (to the left of puzzle piece) for the password manager extension. The extension is installed. Please help.

My iMac automatically updated to the latest version of Firefox and now Firefox won't open at all. I keep getting an error message about installing a helper tool. I tried both installing the Helper Tool and canceling (see attached image) with no success. Please advise.

I am an 82 year old senior. I am not technologically adept. I have a Samsung cell phone - android and a computer I use and want only Mozilla Firefox and Yahoo.

My problem is: I do not know how to get "google" out of my phone and computer. Until yesterday I was able to use "Chat GPT" directly. Today, when I click on the "chat GPT" icon, GOOGLE PLAY STORE DEMANDS I SIGN IN

My question is: HOW CAN I GET COMPLETELY RID OF GOOGLE FROM MY PHONE AND COMPUTER AND USE ONLY MOZILLA FIREFOX AND YAHOO?
