everything in my search box, google etc. is now .com not co.uk, tried about:config solutions but nothing works

Suddenly in the search box all the browsers have been reset by default to .com instead of .co.uk. I tried setting google.co.uk as my homepage - that's ok - but the search box in firefox still goes back to U.S settings

Maybe you switched the Firefox version from en-GB to en-US.
