Restore Home Button

WTM_W7

Had to reinstall Firefox on laptop & now Home Button is missing from menu bar (or bookmarks toolbar - I'm not sure which). Everything else is back to way it was (bookmarks, extensions etc.) So, I found & followed steps to drag & drop it but it ALSO is missing from customize toolbar page. On my desktop using same Firefox account Home Button IS displaying where it always has been. Is there a way to CREATE a "new" Home Button to drag & drop?

Hi WTM_W7,

You shouldn't need to create a new Home button. Firefox has a built-in Home button that can be added back to the toolbar.

Click the menu button, then More tools, and select Customize toolbar…. The Home button should be available there to drag onto the toolbar. When you're finished, click Done.

If Home is not listed there, try clicking Restore Defaults at the bottom of the Customize toolbar screen. This should restore the standard toolbar items.

As a temporary alternative, Alt+Home will take you to your Home page.

I was reluctant to use Restore Defaults since everything else was displaying properly but ended up doing so & then home button was on customize page to drag & drop. Thanks!
