- What, specifically, happens when you try to install it? What error messages do you see? Please quote them all precisely and in full. Screen shots would suffice.

- What version of Thunderbird?

- What is your operating system?

- What Anti-Virus, other security software, or VPN do you use, if any?

Thank you for your kind donation, but we would try to help you regardless. Donations aren't necessary for support.

Injust cannot find where bi can start receiving emails

You must tell us more. You can start by answering those few questions.

Here's an article about how to install Thunderbird in Windows:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-thunderbird-windows

I am using Windows 10. I have installed the program but cannot see where I can send or receive emails Thanks for your help. Regards ken Pratt

Well, OK, you answered one out of three questions - I guess that's a step in the right direction...

Who is your email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Comcast, Outlook, AOL, etc.)?

After you install the program and run it for the first time, you will be prompted to set up an email account in Thunderbird for your email provider. You will need to know, at a minimum, your current email address. If it's with a common email provider that might be enough for Thunderbird to find the proper server settings and set things up for you. This article describes the automatic set up process:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatic-account-configuration

If it's a less well-know provider, you might need to look up the server settings on the provider's web site, and then set up the account manually.
