How can I restore my passwords safed on firefox on an broken laptop but with the same account?
My old laptop broke so I got a new one. I logged in to firefox, but had to change the password as I didnt remember it. Firefox said "the safed passwords might be lost" but I had to do it anyways.
Indeed the passwords are gone. Is there a way to get access to these passwords? I figure if I only could use my old laptop again, the passwords would still be there.
Thanks for the help in advance...

You can use your account recovery key to sign in to your Mozilla account to regain access to your data
If you didn’t save your recovery key, you won’t be able to recover your synced data after resetting your password.
Mozilla accounts uses your password to encrypt your Sync data (like bookmarks, passwords and settings) on Mozilla’s servers. If you forget your password and have to reset it, this data will be erased for security – unless you have a recovery key. A unique account recovery key allows you to reset your password without losing synced encrypted data. More Info
But if you could use your old laptop, the passwords might still be there. If the laptop won't turn on, you can remove the hard drive and put it into an external USB Hard Drive Enclosure or something like that and then you can Restore bookmarks, passwords and data from an old Firefox profile.
