Extension Issue

more options

I did a new Windows 10 install yesterday. I then added my favourite apps.

When I got Firefox installed, adjusted the settings and added my extensions (most of which I've used for years), I found a glitch.

The icons for AdBlocker Ultimate and LastPass do not show up in the Customize Toolbar menu. I keep both of these on my toolbar in the past.

I've tried restarting Firefox several times and, finally, tried running it in Troubleshoot Mode. The last, it seems, doesn't allow the use of extension.

So ... please help!

Chosen solution

The "Customize Toolbar" menu is no longer the primary place to manage these icons.

Look for the "Jigsaw Piece" icon on your toolbar. It's usually located to the right of your address bar.

Click the Extensions menu icon. This will open a dropdown menu listing all of your installed extensions.

Find LastPass and AdBlocker Ultimate in the list.

Pin the icons to the toolbar. For each extension, you should see a gear icon or a three-dot menu. Click on it, and you'll find an option to "Pin to Toolbar" (or a similar phrase).

Once you've done this, the icons should appear on your main toolbar, and you'll be able to move them around in the "Customize Toolbar" menu as you're used to.
